My Story so far…A Hybrid Professional Built for Transformation

From the sales floors of pharmaceutical giants to boardrooms of conglomerates and the fluid chaos of tech startups, my career is the story of a hybrid leader—grounded in structure, forged in ambiguity, and shaped by the full spectrum of analog and digital transformation.


Structured Beginnings: Abbott Laboratories
My professional roots trace back to Abbott Laboratories, where I first learned the value of process discipline, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Managing cardiovascular and nutritional product lines taught me how to sell within tightly controlled frameworks, while maintaining empathy for customer needs and a results-driven mindset. It was here I built the foundation of professional integrity, structured execution, and performance under pressure.

 

Start-Up Mindset and Entrepreneurial Discovery: JobStreet by SEEK
In 2006, I transitioned to the world of technology at JobStreet, then a Malaysian-owned tech startup and one of the earliest digital investments by the Gokongwei Group through Summit Media. As the company scaled across Southeast Asia, I found myself immersed in a culture unlike any I had experienced before—agile, ambitious, and unafraid to reinvent.


Working in this early-stage digital venture gave me firsthand insight into how startup environments reward entrepreneurial thinking. I wasn’t just a salesperson; I was part strategist, part product evangelist, and part builder. I launched new revenue streams, restructured client portfolios, and introduced tech-enabled services that are now commonplace. Most importantly, I learned that in a startup, those who think like owners can help shape the company’s future, not just execute its present.

 

Navigating Ambiguity and Leading Through Change: ShipServ, Xend, Voyager
My next chapters pushed me to embrace uncertainty and deliver under pressure. At ShipServ, I reduced revenue churn from 40% to 16% by overhauling the account management approach—simplifying workflows, automating key processes, and, most critically, redesigning the sales methodology and client engagement processes. I ensured adoption by equipping account managers with clear frameworks and playbooks that improved consistency, deepened client relationships, and directly drove retention and upsell opportunities.


At Xend, I restructured both product and operations to support enterprise-grade scalability in a fast-growing logistics environment. I streamlined teams, optimized delivery platforms, and aligned internal processes to support rapid commercial expansion.


With Voyager Innovations, I stepped into a high-velocity, innovation-driven landscape. Serving in multiple leadership roles—Head of Enterprise Solutions, Interim Country Head, and Head of Operations—I led platform rollouts, rebuilt fulfillment systems, and co-designed custom enterprise solutions for flagship clients like Sun Life and Philippine Airlines. I operated at the intersection of product, sales, and operations, often simultaneously. This phase sharpened my resilience, adaptability, and systems thinking—qualities that became essential in navigating complex, high-stakes environments.


Bridging Analog to Digital at Scale: Samsung, SM, and CorTech
My role at Samsung Electronics marked my shift into enterprise-grade digital commerce. I spearheaded online growth initiatives, structured regional partnerships with Lazada and Shopee, and launched a B2B eCommerce platform that expanded Samsung’s footprint into government and institutional clients.


At SM Retail and SM Investments Corp., I deepened my impact on digital transformation by playing a critical role in developing an integrated omnichannel ecosystem that unified loyalty, digital commerce, and customer experience. I was instrumental in the re-design of the SMAC loyalty infrastructure, contributed to the development of the SM Super App, and helped shape product strategy across key transformation initiatives—including API development, mobile-first UX, and platform integration. It was corporate innovation at scale, and I thrived at the intersection of legacy systems and modern digital architecture.


Now, as Co-Founder of CorTech Solutions, I channel this entire arc into helping clients navigate their own digital reinvention. Whether it’s crafting white-label solutions, building modular tech stacks, or advising on CX strategy, I bring real-world experience that spans the analog past and digital present, with the strategic lens of someone who has lived both.​
